How It Happened
Holy Family led a majority of the game except for two minor moments in the first half with the latter coming at the 11:09 mark after a pair of free throws gave Caldwell a 17-16 advantage.  The lead didn't last long as the Tigers responded down the court with a three-pointer by freshman Randy Bell (Sicklerville, N.J./Timber Creek). From that point forward, Holy Family maintained the lead despite the Cougars coming within one point of the lead later in the first half.

Another pair of free throws converted by Derek Dorn made the score 22-21 with 7:40 to play in the opening half. The Tigers went on to score seven straight points over the next two-plus minutes to grab their biggest lead of the game to that point.  A layup basket by freshman John Rigsby (Malvern, Pa./Archbishop Carroll) gave the Tigers a 29-21 advantage with just over five minutes left.  By the time the half was over, the Tigers had a double-digit lead (44-32) heading into halftime thanks to a layup score as time expired from redshirt freshman Trai Greer (Cape May Court House, N.J./Middle Township).

In the second half, the Tigers opened with a mini 6-0 run to grab its biggest lead of the game.  Freshman Maliq Sanders (Voorhees, N.J./Eastern Regional) drained a three-pointer to make the score 50-32.  Holy Family led by double-digits for 19:51  minutes of the second half before Caldwell cut the lead down to single digits in the final seconds of the game when Ahmad Harrison connected  on a three-pointer.
