How It Happened
The Golden Bears scored four first half goals to put Holy Family in a deep deficit.  Kutztown scored all four of its goals in a 14-minute span beginning in the 12th minute when Alaina Curry connected on her third goal of the season.  Minutes later Maddie Mohr scored back-to-back goals in the 13th and 17th minute respectively to give the Golden Bears a 3-0 advantage.  It marked Mohr's third and fourth goals of the season.

Emily Zwiercan capped the scoring for Kutztown with her second goal of the season in the 26th minute as the Golden Bears went into halftime with a 4-0 lead.

Holy Family broke up the shutout midway through the second half when sophomore Brianna Rock (Bensalem, Pa./Bensalem) found the back of the net for the seventh time this season.  Rock received a pass from freshman Casey Rodgers (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) and went to turn and dribble and took a shot from just outside the box into the lower-left part of the goal for the score.  Her team-leading seventh goal of the season came in the 64th minute.

Holy Family senior goalkeeper Sienna Smith (Pottsville, Pa./Pottsville Regional) tied her season-high with eight saves in net.  Her counterpart, Jenna Bracken, also made eight saves for the Golden Bears.
