How it Happened
After over 80 minutes of scoreless action, both teams found the back of the net in the 81st minute.  The Tigers were first to strike when sophomore Matthew Tracey (Jenkintown, Pa./Abington) tallied the season's first goal to give Holy Family a 1-0 advantage at the 80:17 mark.  Senior Justin Hiltwine (Philadelphia, Pa./Father Judge) was credited with the assist on the play. Less than :30 seconds later, UDC came through with equalizing goal to tie the game at 1-1.

Holy Family managed three shots in the final nine minutes of regulation, including a shot on-goal by senior Connor Stackhouse (Warrington, Pa./Central Bucks South) with :14 seconds on the clock but UDC goalie Joao Brusamolin made the stop as time expired.

In the overtime period, a foul by the Firebirds set up the game-winning opportunity for the Tigers.  Stackhouse sent an indirect kick into the box and found C. Tracey waiting as he connected on the score sending the Tigers to the 2-1 triumph in the 98th minute.

Inside the Box Score
Holy Family: The Tigers were outshot 20-5 in the first 81 minutes of action but that didn't seem to bother sophomore goalkeeper Mark Pohl (Feasterville, Pa./Father Judge).  In his first collegiate start, Pohl made eight saves in regulation to keep the Tigers in the game.  Down the stretch, Holy Family put the pressure on the Firebirds with seven shots in the final 17 minutes between regulation and overtime. During that span, UDC had just a single shot attempt. Holy Family held a slight edge in corner kicks, 9-6.

District of Columbia: Christopher Moke and Gabriel Torres each led the game with six shots apiece as the duo attempted 12 of the team's 21 shots.

Up Next
