How It Happened
Chestnut Hill scored the final five goals of the first half to grab the lead away from the Tigers and take an 8-6 lead into halftime.  Holy Family led 6-3 midway through the half when the Tigers scored back-to-back goals off shots from senior Erin Harmer (Philadelphia, Pa./Nazareth Academy) and freshman Dana Trevito (Voorhees, N.J./Eastern Regional) within :30 seconds of one another.

Trevito's unassisted score gave the Tigers' their biggest lead of the game at 6-3 with 13:34 to play until halftime.

However, the Griffins rallied five consecutive goals in the final 11:24 minutes of the half to take a two-goal advantage into the final 30 minutes of action.

Holy Family opened the second half with a score from Harmer to cut the lead down to 8-7 but Chestnut Hill came through with four straight goals to increase its lead to 12-7 by the 16:18 mark.

Both teams would exchange a pair of goals over the next six-plus minutes as the Griffins held on to their five-goal lead of 14-9 with less than 10 minutes to play in regulation.

Holy Family rallied down the stretch as senior Paige Settar (Mullica Hill, N.J./Clearview Regional) scored three unanswered goals to cut the lead down to 14-12.  However, time was not on the Tigers' side as the rally fell short as time expired.
