How We Got Here
Holy Family scored the game's first goal as senior Paige Settar (Mullica Hill, N.J./Clearview Regional) found the back of the net in the first :90 seconds after a leading pass from sophomore Rose Bachmayer (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan).  However, Kutztown went on to score seven of the game's next nine goals to take a 7-3 lead halftime advantage.

In the second half, Holy Family opened with two straight goals over the first nine minutes of the half to come within two goals of the Golden Bears' lead.  Freshman Vanessa Pagliei (Linwood, N.J./Mainland Regional) scored in the open seconds, while senior Nicole Braungart (Medford, N.J./Bishop Eustace) tallied a goal at the 21:18 mark to make the score 7-5.

Similar to the first half, Kutztown went on a run and came away with five of the next six goals scored in the game.  Sophomore Lauren Huggins accounted for three of Kutztown's five goals as she finished with a game-high four goals.

The Golden Bears ended their rally at the 4:02 mark when senior recorded her first goal of the season to increase the lead to 12-6.

Settar and senior Erin Harmer (Philadelphia, Pa./Nazareth Academy) added a couple of goals down the stretch for the Tigers to make the score 12-8 but that would be as close as Holy Family would get as Kutztown held on to the four-goal victory.
