How it Happened
The Tigers found themselves in another close one as the game came down to the final minute of action.  American International tied the game at 66-66 after Tahlib Swan converted a pair of free throws with 1:22 to play in regulation.  Two possessions later, Holy Family returned the favor with two free throws by junior Dyllon Hudson-Emory (Harrisburg, Pa./Bishop McDevitt) who made both to give the Tigers a 68-66 lead with only :12 seconds remaining.

On the following possession by the Yellow Jackets, Juwan Moody knocked down a clutch three-pointer to give AIC a 69-68 lead with three seconds remaining.  Holy Family quickly called a timeout to draw up a potential game-winning play.  Out of the timeout, the Yellow Jackets forced a Holy Family turnover, which resulted in the Tigers to quickly foul.   Swan was sent to the line and converted both free throw attempts to give AIC a 71-68 cushion and seal the victory.

Holy Family trailed by as many as 10 points at the 8:50 mark of the second half.  The Tigers chipped away at the Yellow Jackets' lead over the next six-plus minutes and tied the game when freshman John Rigsby (Malvern, Pa./Archbishop Carroll) split a pair of free throws with 2:22 to play.
