How It Happened
Holy Family never trailed in a back-and-forth game despite Goldey-Beacom tying the score on two occasions.  The Tigers struck first in the 11th minute when redshirt sophomore Stefanie Ulmer (Philadelphia, Pa./Delaware Valley HS Center City) scored her seventh goal of the season off a touch pass from senior Ashley Shackleford (Burlington, N.J./Holy Cross HS)

The Tigers held on to the 1-0 advantage through the rest of the half and into halftime.  It wouldn't take long for the Lightning to tie the score as the game entered the second half.  Cliona Crammond picked up her fourth goal of the season in the 47th minute to tie the game at 1-1.

Later in the half the Tigers struck again, this time it was junior Shannon Metzler (Erial, N.J./St. Josephs (Hammonton)) with the tally.  She took a header shot off a corner kick attempt from sophomore Alyssa Christiansen (Warminster, Pa./William Tennent) to score her fifth goal of the season in the 61st minute.

The lead would be short lived as Goldey-Beacom quickly responded with a goal from Amy Runciman to tie the game at 2-2 with her seventh score of the year.

With the score still tied late in the game Holy Family made a push up field.  Junior Taylor Adair (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) made a great pass up towards Rock who beat her defender.  Rock then made a short boot kick past goalkeeper, Cindell Aguirre, for the go-ahead and eventual game-winner in the 83rd minute. It marked her conference leading 13th goal of the season and her sixth game-winning score.

Junior goalkeeper Kacie Booth (Maple Shade, N.J./Maple Shade) finished the game with a pair of saves for the Tigers earning the victory in net.  Her counterpart, Aguirre, made four stops for the Lightning.
