How We Got Here
Nyack erased a nine-point deficit late in the first half and took a one-point lead with under two minutes to play in the first half.  However, Holy Family closed out the half on a 7-0 run to take a 33-27 lead entering halftime.  Redshirt seniors Xavier Williams (Philadelphia, Pa./Saul) and Reggie Charles (Philadelphia, Pa./Father Judge) combined for the seven points to lead the rally.  Williams ended up finishing the game with a season-high 17 points, while Charles totaled 16 points.

The Tigers' 7-0 run that ended the first half extended into the second half scoring seven of the first nine points of the half.  The combined 14-2 surge gave the Tigers their first double-digit lead of the game.  Redshirt senior Eric Fleming (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) capped the run with a three-pointer giving the Tigers a 40-29 advantage. Fleming was locked in from beyond the arc as he shot 5-of-7 from deep range to finish with 15 points.

From there, the Tigers never looked back and even extended their lead to as many as 25 points with less than five minutes to play.  Charles split a pair of free throws to make the score 70-45.

In the second half alone, Holy Family knocked down half its shots (14-28) while holding Nyack to just 27.3-percent shooting from the field in the final 20 minutes.
