How We Got Here
Holy Family overcame an 18-point deficit after trailing 43-25 with a minute to play in the first half.  The Tigers were able to score the final four points of the half to make the score 43-29 entering halftime.

In the second half, the Tigers trailed 51-37 at the 15:48 mark and less than three minutes later found themselves down by only two points.  Holy Family went on 12-0 run to come within one possession of the lead. The Clippers maintained their lead but only by two possessions.  The Tigers finally tied the game at 61-61 with eight minutes to play when senior Marvin Crawford (Edison, N.J./J.P. Stevens) drained a three-pointer.  Crawford was one of four players to score in double-figures for the Tigers finishing with 15 points (6-9 FG).

Crawford's three-pointer jump-started another big run (11-0) by the Tigers that resulted in a 69-61 advantage with 5:36 to play.  However, over the next 4:35 minutes the Clippers began chipping away at the Tigers' lead.  Concordia came within one point when freshman Stephen Milhaven split a pair of free throws that made the score 73-72 in favor of Holy Family with 1:01 showing on the clock.

With :14 seconds left, Fields came through with a three-pointer that gave the Clippers a 75-73 lead.  The shot was his game leading fourth three-pointer of the game as he went to finish with a team-high 17 points.

On the ensuing possession, Concordia elected to foul Holy Family sending senior Derrick Stewart (Philadelphia, Pa./Neumann-Goretti) to the free throw line in a one-and-one situation.  Stewart converted the first free throw but ended up missing the second.  Holy Family managed to keep possession after Concordia knocked the ball out of bounds.

With a chance to take the lead with seven seconds to play, redshirt senior Reggie Charles (Philadelphia, Pa./Father Judge) was called for an offensive foul resulting in a turnover.  Holy Family quickly fouled to send Concordia to the free throw line.  Junior Andrew Peacock missed the front end of a one-and-one as Stewart grabbed the defensive rebound with less than three seconds on the clock.

Charles then followed with a last second shot just outside half court but his shot hit off the front of the rim as the buzzer sounded to end the game.
