How We Got Here
Senior Turhan Griffin (Philadelphia, Pa./Franklin Learning Center) hit a three-pointer at the 8:02 mark of the first half to give the Tigers a 22-20 lead.  From there, the team went on a 9-0 run and went on to outscore Dominican, 25-12, the final eight minutes of the half to take a 44-32 advantage into halftime.

Griffin drained another three-pointer at the 1:45 mark to give the Tigers' their biggest lead of the half (42-30).  He finished the game shooting 4-of-6 from the field and a perfect 2-of-2 from deep range to score a season-high 15 points.

In the second half, Dominican cut the lead down to two points (57-55) at the 13:26 mark, but that would be as close as the Chargers would get before Holy Family turned the game into a one sided affair.  The Tigers led 68-62 at the 8:06 mark and went on a 13-2 over the next three-plus minutes to take a commanding lead.  Redshirt senior Reggie Charles (Philadelphia, Pa./Father Judge) capped the run with a layup to make the score 81-64. Charles, who has now scored 20-plus points in six of his last seven games, finished with a game-high 23 points.

Holy Family led by as many as 23 points in the final minute when redshirt senior Xavier Williams (Philadelphia, Pa./Saul) knocked down a three-pointer that made the score 91-68.  Williams finished the game with nine points and six rebounds.
