How We Got Here
Holy Family never trailed in the game and after Caldwell tied the score at 4-4 the Tigers held the lead for good.  Back-to-back three-pointers on two straight possessions by redshirt senior Eric Fleming (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) and senior Derrick Stewart (Philadelphia, Pa./Neumann-Goretti) gave the Tigers the jump start they needed to pull away early.

Holy Family used an 18-3 run to take a commanding 22-7 lead by the midway point of the first half.  The Tigers maintained the double-digit lead throughout the rest of the half and took a 41-27 lead into halftime after senior Isaiah Gans (Philadelphia, Pa./Redemption Christian Academy) drained a three-pointer in the final seconds to cap the scoring.

The Tigers connected on 9-of-20 from beyond the arc in the first half and took advantage of 10 first half turnovers by the Cougars.  Holy Family finished the game with 13 three-pointers (13-43) and forced 18 turnovers after making just four of its own.

The second half was more of the same as Holy Family opened with a 16-5 run over the first four-plus minutes of the half to take a 25-point lead.  Fleming knocked down another three-pointer making the score 57-32.

Holy Family led by as many as 28 points on two occasions in the second half.
