How We Got Here
Both teams struggled from the field each shooting a season-low with Holy Family at 30.9-percent (17-55) and Chestnut Hill at 28.1-percent (16-57).  Despite the struggles offensively, the Tigers managed to build a double-digit lead late in the second half.  Leading 48-44 with five minutes to play, Holy Family scored seven unanswered points to build the game's first double-digit lead.

During that span, the Holy Family defense held Chestnut Hill to 0-of-5 shooting and forced a pair of turnovers. Senior Marvin Crawford (Edison, N.J./J.P. Stevens), who led the Tigers with 15 points, converted a pair of free throws to make the score 55-44 with 1:29 left in regulation.

Holy Family outscored Chestnut Hill, 11-4, the final five minutes pick up its eighth victory in the last nine games.

Holy Family led the entire second half and grabbed the lead for good late in the first.  Trailing 16-15 with 4:27 to play until halftime, redshirt senior Eric Fleming (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) knocked down a three-pointer to give the Tigers the lead.  Fleming finished the game shooting 4-of-8 from the field, including 4-of-7 from deep range.
