New Haven, Conn. - Senior midfielder Brianna Lancetta (Marlton, N.J./Bishop Eustace) was selected as the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week for the week ending April 5 as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.  Lancetta is earning Player of the Week honors for the first time in her career.
 
In a 2-0 week for the Tigers, Lancetta totaled a team-high 11 points thanks to two five-goal performances at Caldwell University and at Philadelphia University.  The Tigers defeated the Cougars, 17-5, and then capped the week with a 13-12 victory over the Rams.
 
Against Caldwell, Lancetta finished with five goals and one assist for six points to go along with four ground balls and four draws.  She followed that up with another five goal outing versus Philadelphia.  She finished the week converting 5-of-7 on free position shots.
 
This season Lancetta has totaled 21 goals and eight assists for 29 points thus far.  She has also collected 16 ground balls and caused seven turnovers.
 
Holy Family (8-3, 4-0 CACC) is back in action on Wednesday, April 8 as the Tigers travel to face Post University in a CACC contest.  Game time is slated for 3 p.m.
