New Haven, Conn. - Holy Family University senior
Sarah Bariglio (Vineland, N.J./St. Joseph HS) was named to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women's Track & Field Weekly Honor Roll for the week ending April 19 as announced by the conference office on Tuesday afternoon.
This marks the third straight week that Bariglio has been recognized on the conference's Weekly Honor Roll.
Bariglio came up big at the annual CTC Outdoor Championships as she recorded a pair of top-three finishes. In the 100-meter dash, Bariglio qualified for the finals after finishing third in the preliminaries with a time of 12.31 seconds. She then recorded a time of 12.45 seconds in the finals to finish third overall in the event.
Bariglio also competed in the 200-meter dash and recorded her top-finish this outdoor season with a second-place showing. Bariglio recorded a new-personal best time of 26.36 seconds.
In addition, Bariglio was part of the 4x400-meter relay team that finished third overall. She teamed with sophomores
Ces Coleman (Upper Marlboro, Md./Largo),
Kianna Tidball (Bronx, N.Y./Dewitt Clinton) and
Achaia Pierre (Philadelphia, Pa./Penn Wood) to record a time of 4:11.34.
Holy Family is back in action later this week, as the Tigers will compete in the annual Penn Relays.
