New Haven, Conn. - Senior Sarah Bariglio (Vineland, N.J./St. Joseph HS) and freshman Shanisha Jeffrey (Amityville, N.Y./Copiague) were both named to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women's Track & Field Weekly Honor Roll for the week ending April 12 as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.
 
At the annual The College of New Jersey Invite on Saturday, Bariglio recorded two top-ten finishes on the day, including her first place performance in the 100-meter dash. Bariglio finished in a winning time of 12.29 seconds.  During the preliminaries, Bariglio finished second in her heat in a personal-best time of 12.27 seconds.  Her time also set a new school record in the event.
 
In the 200-meter dash, Bariglio finished seventh overall as she crossed the finish line in 27.04 seconds.
 
Jeffrey recorded her top finish of the season in the shot put event.  Jeffrey finished third overall and recorded a distance of 34' 7.75" (10.56m); her second-best distance this season during both indoor and outdoor season.
 
Jeffrey also competed in the discus event and finished 13th overall with a distance of 68' 2" (20.78m).
 
Holy Family is back in action on Friday, April 17 as the Tigers compete at the annual CTC Outdoor Championship.  Rowan University will serve as host of the two-day event.
