In a game that literally went back and forth the entire way, Holy Family managed to overcome the game's biggest lead of three goals to force overtime.  The Tigers trailed 6-3 midway through the first half after Millersville connected on four straight scores. The Marauders maintained their lead and took a 12-10 advantage entering halftime.

However, the Tigers went on to tie the game with back-to-back goals to start the second half by junior Nicole Braungart (Medford, N.J./Bishop Eustace) and Bonomo to make the score 12-12.

Millersville quickly responded with two straight goals to regain the lead before the Tigers countered with two goals of their own to tie the game once more.  Kelly tallied back-to-back goals to make the score 14-14 with 19:36 to play.

The Marauders once again regained the lead with two more scores, but the Tigers continued to put on the pressure and would eventually tie the game at 17-17 at the 10:16 mark.

With the game heading down the final stretch, Fusco tacked on her seventh goal of the game to give Millersville an 18-17 lead with 5:42 left on the clock.  Less than two minutes later, Settar came through with the game-tying goal that sent the game into overtime.  Settar received a pass from junior Ashley Magagna (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) with 4:08 to play scoring the final goal of regulation.

In the overtime period, Millersville was first to strike when sophomore Taylor Davis broke the deadlock with a goal with only 1:35 to play in the extra period to make the score 19-18.  However, :17 seconds later the Tigers tied the game one last time this time with Bachmayer's third tally of the game.
