However, Dowling responded with four straight goals over the next six minutes to increase its lead to 7-1 by the 10:50 mark of the half.

The Golden Lions controlled the game in the first half outscoring the Tigers, 20-7, and holding the advantage on ground balls (10-6) and draws (11-2).

Dowling went on to score four more goals in the half in between goals by Settar and Braungart.  The Golden Lions led 11-3 at the half.

In the second half, Dowling went on to score eight unanswered goals before Harmer capped the game's scoring in the final seconds for her second score of the game.
