Caldwell, N.J. - The Holy Family University women's lacrosse team extended its winning streak to four games after defeating Caldwell University by the score of 17-5 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) contest on Tuesday afternoon at the Kiwanis Oval.

Holy Family, winners of five of its last six games, improves to 6-3 overall and 4-0 in the CACC. The Tigers are currently the only undefeated team in conference play as well as the only team in the CACC with an above .500 overall record.

Caldwell is now 2-5 overall and 1-3 in conference action.

Senior
Brianna Lancetta (Marlton, N.J./Bishop Eustace) along with juniors
Nicole Braungart (Medford, N.J./Bishop Eustace) and
Paige Settar (Mullica Hill, N.J./Clearview Regional) combined to score 13 of the team's 17 goals on the afternoon. Lancetta led the way with a game-high five goals as she tied her season-high. She also tallied an assist for six total points. In addition, Lancetta picked up a team-high four ground balls and controlled four draws.

Braungart totaled five points after recording four goals and an assist. She also had two ground balls and caused one turnover. Setter, fresh off scoring her 100
th career goal in Saturday's win over Nyack College, finished with five points as well. She totaled four goals and one assist to go along with two ground balls and four draw controls.

Senior
Sarah Kelly (Washington Twp., N.J./Washington Twp.) scored a pair of goals in the win, while senior
Kimber Kisselback (Langhorne, Pa./Neshaminy) and junior
Erin Harmer (Philadelphia, Pa./Nazareth Academy) each tallied one goal. Harmer also had a team-high two assists.Â

For Caldwell, sophomore Christina Gonzalez and freshman Kylee Shoop each scored two goals apiece for the Cougars. Sophomore Amanda Timmes led the team with four ground balls, three draw controls and one caused turnover.

Holy Family led from beginning to end in this one as the Tigers' offense exploded for 12 first half goals. The defense also came up big in the first half holding the Caldwell offense scoreless the first 30 minutes of action and allowing only three shots.

Junior
Grace Deckert (Jarrettsville, Md./Fallston), who was named the CACC Co-Defensive Player of the Week for the second straight week, made four saves in net for the Tigers.Â

The Tigers outshot the Cougars, 35-9, for the game and controlled the draw by a 13-8 margin. Holy Family also had a slight advantage on ground balls, 16-15.Â

Caldwell scored its first goal of the game in the opening minutes of the second half when Gonzalez tallied her first of two scores in the half.Â

Holy Family is back in action on Thursday, April 2 as the Tigers travel to face cross-town rival Philadelphia University for the first time since last year's CACC championship final. Game time is slated for 4:30 p.m.
