Philadelphia, Pa. - The Holy Family University women's soccer team scored a season-high six goals as the Tigers defeated Concordia College by the score of 6-0 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) contest Saturday afternoon at Tiger Field.

Holy Family improves to 2-2-0 overall and 2-0-0 in the CACC, while Concordia starts its season with a 0-1-0 mark. The win marked Holy Family's second straight shutout victory against a CACC opponent as the Tigers outscored their competition 11-0 in the two games.Â

Holy Family scored five first half goals to take a commanding lead in the game. Freshman
Ursula Coyle (Philadelphia, Pa./Little Flower) jump started the scoring in the 11
th minute. After a corner kick attempt by junior
MaryKate Morris (Philadelphia, Pa./Saint Hubert's), Coyle headed the corner kick into the back of the net for her second score of the season.Â

The Tigers doubled their lead in the 27
th minute when junior
Kimber Kisselback (Langhorne, Pa./Neshaminy) drove home a rebounded ball from about 20-yards out to make the score 2-0. Kisselback's goal was the first of three goals scored over a three-minute span.Â

Freshman
Ashley Shackleford (Burlington, N.J./Holy Cross HS) followed with her second goal of the season in the 28
th minute after receiving a past from Coyle at the top of the box. Shackleford beat Concordia goalkeeper, sophomore Jennifer Forlini, one-on-one for the score.Â

th minute sophomore
Lisa Abramski (Lindenhurst, N.Y./Kellenberg Memorial) came through with her second goal of the season as she launched a shot from the right corner into the lower left portion of the net to give the Tigers a 4-0 advantage.Â

Holy Family tacked on one more score in the final minute of the first half when sophomore
Nicole Wright (Cinnaminson, N.J./Cinnaminson) scored her first career goal after receiving a pass from Morris. Wright's goal gave the Tigers a 5-0 lead entering halftime. Morris finished the game with two assists.Â

Holy Family controlled the half as the Tigers outshot Concordia 19-0 and held a 7-0 margin on corner kicks. The Tigers finished the game with 25 shots and 11 corner kicks.Â

Concordia finished with two shots on the afternoon both coming from senior Bridgitte McCalla in the second half.

Sophomore
Jenna Richards (Croydon, Pa./Conwell Egan) capped the scoring for the Tigers in the second half with her first goal of the season in the 53
rd minute. Fellow classmate
Marie Bisirri (Bensalem, Pa./Nazareth Academy) assisted on the play as the Tigers led 6-0.Â

Freshmen goalkeepers
Sienna Smith (Pottsville, Pa./Pottsville Regional) and
Kacie Booth (Maple Shade, N.J./Maple Shade) combined for the shutout victory. In 60 minutes of action, Smith made one save.Â

Forlini made 11 saves in net for the Clippers in her season debut.

Holy Family is back in action on Tuesday, Sept. 17 as the Tigers travel to face Molloy College in a non-conference contest. Game time is slated for 7 p.m.
