Nyack, N.Y. - After 110 minutes of action the Holy Family University women's soccer team and Nyack College finished in a 0-0 draw in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conferene (CACC) contest on Saturday afternoon at Mosley Field.

Holy Family is now 5-4-2 overall and 4-1-2 in the CACC, while Nyack is now 5-6-2 overall and 4-1-2 in conference action.

Holy Family finished the game with 12 shots, including seven in the first half. The Nyack defense limited the Tigers to only two shots in the overtime periods. The Warriors outshot the Tigers, 15-12, for the game and held a 4-2 advantage in overtime.

Freshman goalkeeper
Sienna Smith (Pottsville, Pa./Pottsville Regional) made seven stops in net for the Tigers to preserve the shutout. Nyack goalkeeper, junior Madeline Barbarino, tallied four saves.

Today's scoreless draw marked the first time since the 2005 season that the Tigers were involved in a 0-0 finish. Holy Family tied cross-town rival Philadelphia University, 0-0, back on Sept. 7, 2005. Â

Holy Family is back in action on Thursday, Oct. 17 as the Tigers travel to face LIU Post in a non-conference contest. Game time is slated for 3:30 p.m.
