Megan Tole (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) scored two goals to lift the Holy Family University women's soccer team to a 3-0-shutout victory over visiting Dominican College in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) contest Saturday afternoon at Tiger Field.
Holy Family is now 2-8-0 overall and 2-4-0 in conference play after the win, while Dominican falls to 3-5-1 overall and 2-3-1 in CACC action.
Tole scored the game's first goal in the 21
st minute as she drove in a rebounded shot by freshman
Stephanie Fischer (Fairless Hills, Pa./Pennsbury) to give the Tigers a 1-0 lead.
The score would remain 1-0 in favor of the home team until the second half when Tole doubled the Tigers' lead to 2-0 netting her second goal of the contest in the 63
rd minute. Senior

Lisa Abramski (Lindenhurst, N.Y./Kellenberg Memorial) assisted on the score.
The Tigers tacked on one more goal late in the half when sophomore
Kimber Kisselback (Langhorne, Pa./Neshaminy) scored her second goal of the season. Kisselback's goal came in the 84
th minute to make the score 3-0.
Senior goalkeeper
Rachel Dunkle (Blandon, Pa./Fleetwood) picked up the shutout victory as she made four saves in net for the Tigers. Junior goalkeeper Veronica Iozzi tallied nine stops for the Chargers.
Holy Family outshot Dominican 24-15 and held a slight edge in corner kicks, 8-5.
Holy Family is back in action on Wednesday, Oct. 3 as the Tigers host Philadelphia University in a CACC contest. Game time is slated for 4 p.m.
