Waltham, Mass. - The Holy Family University women's soccer team dropped a non-conference road contest to Bentley University Saturday afternoon in Waltham, Mass.
 
Holy Family is now 0-2-0 on the young season, while Bentley starts its season at 1-0-0.
 
Senior Deirdre Leary scored two-second half goals to lead the Falcons offense.  Leary's first goal broke a 0-0 tie as she scored an unassisted goal in the 54^th minute.
 
Bentley doubled its score in the 66^th minute after a goal by senior Molly Alfieri to give the Falcons a 2-0 advantage.  Bentley would go on to add another goal in the 81^st minute after Leary scored her second goal of the game.
 
Bentley controlled the game offensively as the Falcons outshot Holy Family 21-1 as well as holding a 13-2 advantage on corner kicks.
 
Senior goalkeeper Rachel Dunkle (Blandon, Pa./Fleetwood) finished the game with eight saves for the Tigers, including six in the second half.
 
Holy Family returns to action a week from today on Sept. 8 as the Tigers travel to face Caldwell College in the team's first Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) contest of the season.  Game time is slated for 12 p.m.
