Women’s Soccer Set to Face Caldwell in CACC Quarterfinals

Philadelphia, Pa. - The Holy Family University women's soccer team will face Caldwell College in the quarterfinals of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championship, which is set to begin at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 1.

Holy Family (10-7-0, 7-5-0 CACC), seeded sixth in this year's championship, will travel to third seeded Caldwell College (8-7-2, 7-3-2 CACC) for a quarterfinal clash.  This marks the 13th consecutive season that the Tigers have qualified for the CACC Championship.  The game will be held at the soccer field on the campus of Rutgers-Newark.

Freshmen Kimber Kisselback (Langhorne, Pa./Neshaminy) and MaryKate Morris (Philadelphia, Pa./Saint Hubert's) have combined for 16 points this season.  Kisselback has scored four goals and one assist for nine points, while Morris has tallied three goals and one assist for seven points.  Junior Melissa Benson (Rockledge, Pa./Little Flower) has scored two goals and recorded four assists for eight points this year.

The Holy Family defense has limited opponents to only 1.53 goals per game and 11.4 shots per contest this season.  The Tigers feature a tandem of goalkeepers in senior Gina Mansi (Washington Twp., N.J./Washington Twp. ) and junior Rachel Dunkle (Blandon, Pa./Fleetwood).  Mansi has a goals against average of 1.54 to go along with a .766 save percentage with 36 saves.  Dunkle has recorded a 1.49 goals against average, while recording a .754 save percentage.  Dunkle has tallied 46 saves and has four shutouts this season.
