The women's volleyball team went 3-0 this past week to extend its winning streak to eight matches as the Tigers have won 16 of their last 17 contests. Holy Family began the week with a 3-1 victory at home against Wilmington University and capped the weekend with a 3-0 victory at Felician College and a 3-2 win versus Queens College.
Sophomore Chelsea Keegan tallied 40 assists and finished with six digs and three kills in the victory against Wilmington. She then had a career day against Queens as she tallied 60 set assists. With her performance against the Knights, Keegan surpassed 1,000 set assists for the season. She currently has 1,003 assists this season and is only the second player in program history to record 1,000-plus assists in a season. Former Holy Family standout Aimee Drabyn recorded a school record 1,318 assists in 2007.
For the week, Keegan tallied 100 assists and averaged 11.11 assists per set. She also averaged 3.00 digs per set after totaling 27.
