Holy Family University Athletics

Freshman pitcher Rachael Alligood went 2-1 this past week as the Holy Family University softball team wrapped up the regular season with a pair of doubleheader splits against Concordia College and Chestnut Hill College.  Alligood pitched seven strong innings in the game two win against Concordia (5-2).  She scattered seven hits, while surrendering only two runs (one earned) and striking out three batters.  She also picked up the win in the Tigers 11-0 game one victory over Chestnut HIll.  For the week, Alligood went 2-1 with an earned run average of 1.37 and eight strikeouts in 15.1 innings of work.
