Holy Family University Athletics

For the second straight week freshman Ricky Meriwether won the 400-meter dash as the Holy Family track & field team competed at the Towson Invitational hosted by Towson University this past Saturday. The men's 400-meter dash participants had four sprinters finish in the top-ten. Meriwether finished first overall in a time of 51.12 seconds to lead the Tigers. Sophomore Lou Simone followed nearly step-by-step with Meriwether crossing the finish line in 51.65 seconds for a second place showing. Freshman Richard Sieck finished fifth overall in 53.29 seconds, while freshman Olabode Aiyebo was eighth overall in 54.79 seconds.
