Holy Family University Athletics

Sophomore Isaiah Gans was named the CACC Defensive Player of the Week for games from Dec. 16 - Jan. 5.  He helped the Tigers to a 3-1 mark during that span as Holy Family improved to 9-5 overall and 3-2 in the CACC.  Gans averaged 9.0 points, 4.3 rebounds and 4.0 blocks per game in the four contests.  Gans set a career-high with seven blocks in the victory versus USciences.  He also grabbed eight rebounds.  In four games, Gans totaled 16 blocks to increase his conference lead to 40 blocks this season.  Gans is currently ranked fifth among the Division II leaders in blocks.
