Holy Family University Athletics

Sophomore Emma Herring helped lead the Holy Family volleyball team to a 2-1 week this past week.  The Tigers defeated Chestnut Hill (3-2) on Tuesday and capped the week with a 3-1 victory at Felician on Saturday.  The team's lone defeat came at Wilmington (3-1) on Friday night.  Herring led the team with 55 total kills as she averaged 4.23 kills per set.  She recorded double-digit kills in each match, including a new single match school record with 28 kills at Felician.  For the week, Herring also totaled nine service aces, five total blocks and 21 digs.  As a result of her weekly performance, she was listed on the CACC's Weekly Honor Roll for the second straight week.
