Freshman Sienna Smith was named the CACC Defensive Player and Rookie of the Week for the week ending Sept. 22. It marked the second straight week Smith earned weekly honors by the conference. In a 2-0 week, Smith totaled 16 saves on the week, including nine stops in the win at Bloomfield (1-0). With the two-shutout victories on the week, the Tigers' goalkeeper extended her streak of not allowing a goal to 313:17 minutes. In addition, Smith has lowered her goals against average to 1.10 after starting the first two games of the year allowing 3.00 goals per game.  This season, Smith has totaled 32 saves and has a .842 save percentage.
