Holy Family University Athletics

After serving as interim Director of Athletics for the 2018-19 academic year, Tim Hamill officially became the department's second AD in its 33 year history on May 7, 2019 when the interim tag was removed.

"Holy Family has been my home for 19 years, first as a student-athlete, then as an employee.  My connection and dedication to the University will serve me well in my tenure and I am excited to get started. I would like to thank Sister Maureen [McGarrity] and Dr. Wernicki for having the trust and confidence in me to continue to lead and develop the department of athletics for years to come."
 
Hamill has been part of the Holy Family 'family' for the past 19 years when he started as an undergraduate in 2000 to his most recent role as interim Athletic Director.
 
In his prior roles, Hamill gained experience in handling the program's budgets, managing staffs as well as important relationships, including those with alumni, donors and sponsors. 
 
A Holy Family alumnus, Hamill has served his alma mater since 2005.  He graduated from Holy Family in 2004 and went on to earn his master's degree in Elementary Education from the university in 2008. Hamill was a member of the men's soccer team (2000-2003) and earned All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) first team honors in 2003.  That same year Hamill led Division II in assists becoming the first student-athlete to earn a statistical leader award in the university's Division II era.
 
Hamill has worked his way up the ranks in the athletic department, first as the Fitness Center Manager in 2005 as well as assisting a number of sports, including cross country/track & field, men's soccer and softball.  Hamill was named the department's Special Events Coordinator and Athletics Recruiter in 2013 before being promoted to Assistant Director of Athletics in 2016.
 
As an assistant and later as an associate, Hamill developed and implemented fiscal year budgets and handled all department expenditures. He has assisted with a number of vendor negotiations as well as coordinated special events and fundraising campaigns for athletics.  Hamill also oversaw Holy Family's Student-Athlete Advisory (SAAC).
 
Hamill resides in Feasterville with his wife Courtney 08', son Dillon and daughter Finley.
