Holy Family University announced the hiring of Zachary Durham as its new director of sports information in June 2022, and he was promoted to assistant athletic director for sports information in July 2023.

Durham spent the previous five years in Philadelphia at fellow Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) member University of the Sciences; first as the director of athletic communications before being promoted to assistant athletic director for communications for the 2021-22 year.

While at USciences he was the primary contact for the university’s 12 Division II programs, including four consecutive women’s basketball teams that qualified for the NCAA Tournament. In addition to overseeing the day-to-day operations of the department, he had the opportunity to serve as the primary media contact for the 2019 NCAA Division II Women’s Basketball East Regional, co-chair multiple hiring committees for new coaches, and help organize the university’s final Athletics Hall of Fame Ceremony.

Durham began his postgraduate career at Kutztown University, where he was the sports information assistant and served as the secondary contact for all 21 of the university's NCAA Division II varsity programs in 2016-17. There he covered women's soccer and men's basketball teams that reached the NCAA Tournament, and also wrote the script for the season-ending athletics banquet.

Prior to Kutztown, Durham spent two years as the graduate assistant for athletic communications at Sacred Heart University while pursuing his Master of Arts in Sports Communication and Media. In addition to serving as the primary contact for 14 Division I teams during his tenure, including men's basketball, he collaborated with co-workers on the redesign of the university’s new athletics website and served as producer for the department's new weekly recap show that utilized the campus' new studio. He was also the main contact for the baseball team that captured the 2015 Northeast Conference championship and earned a bid to the Fort Worth Regional hosted by TCU.

As part of his graduate program he interned in the sports publicity office at Yale University, where he contributed to the marketing efforts within the office and also assisted in the development of the 2015 football program.

Durham began working in collegiate athletics as a student-assistant, first aiding the game-day operations at Cecil College, where he earned an Associate of Arts degree in General Studies, before beginning his experience in sports information as an intern at Coker College while working towards his Bachelor of Arts in Sports Management.

He was a member of the baseball team at both schools, participating in both the 2011 NJCAA Division II World Series and the 2013 NCAA Division II World Series.
