Tyler Morder

Morder joined Holy Family as the program’s first-ever pitching coach and recruiting coordinator ahead of its inaugural season in 2024. 
 
In his first year, he helped the Tigers win 20 games as a first-year program. 
 
An accomplished baseball coach with a strong foundation in education and player development, he also works closely with the catchers. 
 
Morder joined HFU from Ursinus, where for three years he served as the pitching coach and recruiting coordinator and coach catchers and third base. He reduced the Bears’ team ERA by half a run also mentored the runner-up for Pitcher of the Year.    
 
His coaching career began at Cabrini University, where he helped lead the team to a 52-30 record and a 2019 Atlantic East Conference regular season title during his two seasons. Under his guidance, the Cavaliers’ pitching staff significantly improved, cutting their league-best ERA in half over his two-year stint. He mentored two All-Conference pitchers and called a no-hitter on March 22nd against Dickinson College.
 
Morder was an accomplished pitcher at Seton Hill University, where during his four-year career he logged 123 innings, struck out 84 batters while issuing only 36 walks and compiled an impressive 11-4 record. His tenure included a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) title and Atlantic Regional Tournament win, as well as a trip to the Division II World Series in Cary, N.C.
 
Morder finished his undergraduate studies with a 3.65 GPA and was an active member of the Education Club, as he received his bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education/Special Education. He then earned his master’s in education at Cabrini in December 2019.
 
Morder currently resides in New Egypt, N.J with his fiancée. In addition to coaching, he is a special education teacher with the Bucks County Intermediate Unit at Samuel Everitt School.
