Holy Family hired McLaughlin as an athletic trainer in June 2024.
She returned to HFU after spending the Fall 2022 Semester as an athletic training student, when she was able to gain experience working with the men's basketball, volleyball and men's and women's soccer teams.
McLaughlin also has clinical experience at the University of Pennsylvania, Lehigh University and her alma mater Temple University, working with football, men's and women's basketball, women's volleyball and rowing at the Division I level.
She spent time at the high school level at William Penn Charter School as well, working with the winter and spring sports including basketball, wrestling, lacrosse, softball, baseball and track.
McLaughlin graduated from Temple with her Bachelor of Science in Health Professions, before receiving her Master of Science in Athletic Training.
While at Temple, she was a Dean's List Honoree and a member of both the Iota Tau Alpha Athletic Training Honor's Society and Owls in Athletic Training Society, while also serving as vice president of the women's club volleyball team.
