Biography
2013 Season: Earned All-CACC honors for third straight season... Named to the Capital One Academic All- America Division II women's volleyball team...Named as a recipient of the Athletic Directors Association Division II ADA Academic Achievement Awards...All-time leader in program history for total blocks, with 278 total blocks and 194 block assists. Averaged 2.30 kills per set and totaled 260 kills. Led the conference with a career-high .312 attack percentage. Became the third player in program history to reach and surpass the 1,000 career kill milestone.
2012 Season: Earned All-CACC honors for the second straight season...Named to the CoSIDA/Capital One Academic All-District 1 First Team... One of seven student athletes named to the 2012 Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All-Area Women's Volleyball team... Named as a recipient of the Athletic Directors Association Division II ADA Academic Achievement Awards... Finished her junior season leading the team in kills as she averaged 2.55 kills per set. Collected a total of 268 kills and set a new single-season record for highest attack percentage with a .312- percent breaking her previous mark of .302-percent that she set last year.
2011 Season: Earned All-CACC honors after being named to the second team... Also earned All-East Region Daktronics, Inc. honors after being named to the second team... Put together a career season as she set new career highs in total kills (325), attack percentage (.302), service aces (4), solo blocks (23) and total blocks (74)... Her .302 attack percentage led the CACC and is the highest ever recorded in program history in a single season... Through two seasons she has a career .294 attack percentage and is ranked sixth in program history with 142 total blocks... Was also selected to the CoSIDA/Capital One Academic All-District 1 first team and earned All-Tournament laurels at the CACC Championship... In addition, received CACC All-Academic honors for the first time in her career... tied her career-high with 17 kills against Queens College (10/29)...recorded double-digit kills in 14 matches...
2010 Season: In her first year of collegiate action, appeared in 29 matches. Finished fourth on the team with 186 kills (1.72 k/s) and had a team-best .280 hitting percentage, which ranked third-best in the CACC. Was also second on the team with 68 total blocks (17 BS/51 BA). Tallied a career-high 17 kills and seven total blocks in the victory against Wilmington University on Oct. 19.
High School: Earned recognition as a Great Western Ohio Conference second team pick as a senior...Named to Principal’s List four straight years...Member of the National Honor Society...Established Band Together, an annual benefit show that has raised nearly $4,000 to date for breast cancer research.
