Biography
2010 Season: Beland earned All-CACC first team honors for the second straight season during her junior season. She finished fifth in the conference in digs as she averaged 4.63 digs per set. Beland concluded the year with 1,521 career digs, which ranks her fourth all-time in program history. In addition, Beland tallied 29 service aces and 62 assists last season. Tallied a dig in each match competed in and had 23 double-digit dig performances. Had a season-high 32 digs in the win versus Wilmington University on Oct. 19.
2009 Season: Named to the 2009 Daktronics East Region second team...First team all-CACC pick...Led conference with 587 digs and ranked second in digs per set (4.55)...Registered double-digit digs in 30 of the 35 matches in which she appeared...Led team in digs and ranked second with 54 service aces...Posted a season high 37 digs in opening match of the year.
2008 Season: Finished second in the CACC, 86th nationally, in digs per set (4.17) in her first season...Also second in the conference in digs (479)...Was third on the Tigers in service aces (36)...Came through with double digit digs in all but six matches...Had three matches with at least 30 digs with her season-high (36) coming in a win at Bloomfield...Recorded six service aces in matches with Kutztown and St. Anselm...Named the CACC Rookie of the Week once.
High School: Beland was named to the All-County, All-Region and the PVCA AAA Class All-State teams in her senior season...Helped lead Susquehannock to a runner-up finish in the PA AAA Class State playoffs.
