Carly Covington

    Assistant Women's Volleyball Coach
One of the program’s all-time greats, Covington returned to her alma mater as an assistant coach ahead of the 2023 season. 
 
The 2019 CACC Player of the Year, she is Holy Family’s all-time leader in sets played with 494, while ranking second with a .947 reception percentage and third with 1,398 kills, 1579 points and 139 matches played. She is also top eight in kills per set (2.83), digs (1,441) and points per set (3.20).
 
Covington was a part of HFU teams that won an NCAA Tournament match in three straight seasons in 2018, 2019 and 2021 (there was no 2020 Tournament), including the program’s first-ever NCAA Tournament win in 2018 when the Tigers became the first CACC team to advance to the Sweet 16. 
 
She also two CACC championships, in 2018 and Fall 2021, the latter of which she was named the Tournament MVP in. 
 
Covington garnered AVCA and CCA All-East Region First Team honors in the aforementioned 2019 season and excelled academically as well, earning four CACC All-Academic nominations as she graduated with a degree in neuroscience.
