Mike Biddle

Mike Biddle has been a member of the Holy Family University women’s soccer coaching staff since the program’s inception in 1997. After spending the first eight years as an assistant, Biddle became the team’s second head coach in 2004.

In eight seasons as head coach, Biddle has compiled a record of 84-55-9 and qualified for the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) tournament every year. This past season, Holy Family finished 13-6-1 overall and was 8-3-1 in CACC action.  The Tigers appeared in the CACC Tournament for the 12th straight season and advanced to the CACC Tournament Final for the second time in as many years.

In 2009, the Tigers captured the program’s seventh overall CACC title and earned its second NCAA tournament berth.

Holy Family also claimed CACC championships in 2005 and 2007. After winning the 2007 title, the Tigers became the first program to represent the CACC in the NCAA tournament. He was selected by his peers as the CACC Coach of the Year in 2005 and 2007.

Under his guidance, the team has been involved in a number of community service activities including donating Thanksgiving dinner to an anonymous family through a local church and preparing dinner at the local Ronald McDonald House to show their support for the patients and their families.

As a team, Holy Family was recognized by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) with the NSCAA College Team Academic Award for the second straight season (2009 & 2010).  Holy Family garnered the award for having a collective grade-point average above 3.00 throughout the 2009-2010 academic year.
