Tracy Zimmer

Tracy Zimmer enters her first season as head coach of the Holy Family women's lacrosse team in 2017.  She was named the program's fifth head coach on Oct. 27, 2016. 
 
Zimmer inherits a Tigers' squad that qualified for the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Tournament for the seventh straight season in the program's eight-year history.  Holy Family advanced all the way to the semifinals and finished with a 7-12 overall record and a 6-3 mark in conference play.
 
Zimmer was a four-year member of the women's lacrosse team at Temple University (2007-2010).  She served as team captain her junior and senior seasons and was named the team's Most Valuable Defender in 2010.  During her senior season, Zimmer was named Atlantic-10 All-Conference first team and was selected to the A-10 All-Tournament team.  The year prior, Zimmer earned A-10 All-Conference second team recognition.
 
While at Temple, Zimmer was on the Dean's List three times and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology in 2010.  She then went on to earn her Master's of Kinesiology degree at Temple in 2014. 
 
Zimmer is currently an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at the University of Pennsylvania.  She has been with Penn since September 2010.  Zimmer is also a coach for Ultimate Lacrosse.
