Elizabeth Weber will enter her second year as head coach of the Holy Family women's lacrosse team in 2013. In her first year, Holy Family had a record-breaking season capped with the program's first-ever CACC Championship. The Tigers finished the 2012 season 14-4 overall and 11-1 in the CACC setting new program records in victories in a season. With its 11 wins in conference play, Holy Family also claimed its first CACC regular season title. Holy Family finished last year with a program-best 11 game-winning streak.
Weber became the third head coach in program history on Sept. 14, 2011. She came to Holy Family after spending the 2011 season as an assistant coach at Division I Villanova University. Prior to her stint at Villanova, Weber was an assistant coach for Division I LaSalle University during the 2010 season. She assisted in running practices, strategies, plays and drills throughout the season. Weber's primary focus was on the attack. As a team, LaSalle made its first ever appearance in the Atlantic-10 tournament.
As an undergraduate, Weber played four seasons for the Loyola University women's lacrosse team. During her career she appeared in 54 games and scored 37 goals to go along with eight assists. Weber was also an assistant coach for the Greyhound Lacrosse Club in Baltimore and also served as an intern in the Loyola Athletic Communications office.
She earned a Bachelor of Arts in communications, specializing in advertising and public relations from Loyola in 2009.
During her time as a student at Moorestown High School, Weber lettered in three sports, including lacrosse, field hockey and basketball.
Weber is currently pursuing her Masters degree in sports management at Neumann University.
