Holy Family announced the hiring of Catie (Jaskowak) Holohan as head men's and women's cross country and track & field coach in June 2025.
Holohan arrived at HFU after spending the previous two years as the head men’s and women’s cross country coach and assistant men’s and women’s track & field coach at Gwynedd Mercy University, which included a stint as interim head men’s and women’s track & field coach for the 2024 season.
While at Gwynedd Mercy she mentored three All-Atlantic East (AEC) Cross Country performers, and one of her student-athletes was named to the 2024 Philly-SIDA Academic All-Area Team.
The Griffins produced the 2024 AEC Track Athlete of the Year and had 11 podium finishes at the 2024 AEC Track & Field Championship, including breaking the meet record in the men’s 4x100m relay.
Holohan began her collegiate coaching career as a cross country and track & field assistant at Mount St. Mary’s University, specializing in the personal development, recruitment and training program implementation for the distance athletes.
While at MSM she coached three Northeast Conference (NEC) champions, three NEC runners-up, 10 All-NEC performers and the IC4A champion in the 800m. The Mountaineers finished second at the NEC Championships on three occasions.
Holohan was a decorated Division I student-athlete at Saint Francis University, where she is the school record holder in the 3000m steeplechase. She was the 2017 NEC 3K Steeplechase Rookie of the Year and the runner-up in the 3000m steeplechase at the 2019 NEC Championships.
She also excelled in cross country at SFU, earning All-NEC honors in 2018 and helping the Red Flash win the 2016 NEC Championship.
Holohan received her Bachelor of Arts in English from Saint Francis, before going on to earn her Master of Education in Instructional Design and Technology Concentration from Mount St. Mary’s.
