Nikki Flores enters her third year as a member of the Holy Family University women’s basketball staff. She was an assistant under Miller at Norwich University and came to Philadelphia with him to be an assistant coach in 2009.
Flores had a highly-decorated four year playing career at Division I Marist College. In her senior season, Flores was tabbed as an All-Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) second team selection. She was a co-captain and averaged 9.7 points and 3.2 assists in 35 games. As a freshman in 2005, Flores was selected to the MAAC All-Rookie team. She was also a three-time member of the MAAC All-Academic (2006, 2007, 2008) and All-Tournament (2005, 2006, 2008) teams.
She helped the Red Foxes win four MAAC regular season titles and three conference tournaments. Flores was a member of a senior class that enjoyed 102 victories and three NCAA Tournament appearances. The 2006-07 Marist team reached the Sweet 16. Flores scored 907 points during her career, which spanned a school record 128 games. She ranks fourth in career free throw percentage (.809), seventh in free throws made (305) and sixth in career games played (128).
In 2008, Flores earned a bachelor’s degree in History/Adolescent Education from Marist.
