Jacqui Thompson joined the Holy Family women's basketball program as an assistant coach in May 2021.
She had previously spent two years as a graduate assistant at nearby Temple University during the 2016-17 and 2017-18 seasons.
A former Division I basketball player at Manhattan College, Thompson was a MAAC All-Academic selection as a senior. She played in 61 games in two seasons with the Jaspers, after making 45 starts in two seasons at Wagner College.
She graduated from Manhattan with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics in Dec. 2015, before going on to her Master of Science at Temple in May 2018.
A native of Southampton, Pa., Thompson received the prestigious Philadelphia Markward Basketball Club Award in high school, after becoming just the third player in St. Basil Academy history to reach 1,000-career points.
She is currently a Financial Management Analyst for the Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division.
