Bethann Burke is in her fifth year as assistant coach as she joined the Holy Family staff after spending one season as an assistant coach at Division I University of Pennsylvania. Prior to her stop at Penn, she was the head coach of Council Rock South High School for two seasons.
Burke was a guard for Chestnut Hill College from 2003 to 2006. In her four seasons, she amassed 1,174 points and was a member of the athletic and academic honor rolls in each of her last three seasons. She was also a three-year team captain and helped guide the Griffins to their first NCAA Division III Championship Tournament after winning the Atlantic Women’s Colleges Conference in 2005. She earned the 2006 Athletic Director’s Award, which is given to the school’s top two senior student-athletes.
Burke earned a bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education/History from Chestnut Hill in 2006 and earned her Master’s degree in Education from Cabrini College in 2009.
