Biography

2011 Season: Appeared in 39 games, including 37 starts during her junior season.  Set a new career-high with a .276 batting average.  Finished the year with a career-best 29 hits and 17 runs to go along with 17 RBI.  Also set new career-highs in slugging percentage (.410) and on-base percentage (.356).  Had her first career home run during game two of a double-header against Mercy College on March 19.  Had two home runs in game one against Felician College on April 30.  Finished the game 3-for-4 at the plate to go along with five RBI and two runs.   

2010 Season:  Appeared and started 46 games during her sophomore season.  Batted .204 to go along with 23 hits, three doubles and one triple.  Drove in seven runs and scored 13 times during the course of the season.  Ended the season with at least one hit in five of the team’s last six games.  

2009 Season: Started in 31 games in her freshman campaign...Ended the season with a batting average of (.116)..Had a total of four RBIs, two against Nyack...Went 2-for-4 in a contest at Nyack...Grabbed three consecutive single-hit games...Hit a double in three games...

High School: Vennell was All-Tri County Conference in two sports at Gloucester Catholic. She was All-Conference in softball for three seasons as the team’s starting right fielder and in field hockey for two years. She played with the West Deptford Storm ASA team.
