The HFU Strength & Conditioning department will provide students with knowledge and experience in Strength & Conditioning at the NCAA Division II level in a growing athletic population. HFU Strength & Conditioning provides exposure to a collegiate training environment and the opportunity to develop the skills necessary to become a collegiate strength and conditioning coach. Interns will gain knowledge and skills in evidence-based training protocols and procedures.
Candidates will follow a curriculum dedicated to preparation for the NSCA-CSCS exam by learning:
- Programming
- Exercise Technique
- Injury Modifications
- Training Methodology
- Sprint and Plyometric Technique
- And so much more!

- Undergraduate – Pursuing a degree in health science or related field

- Undergraduate or Graduate Students – Completed or pursuing a degree in health science or related field
- Preferred, but not mandatory certifications – CSCS or CSCCA, CPR/First Aid
