Biography

2013 Season: Played in just seven games and made five starts due to injury...Went 4-for-16 with three runs scored and an RBI...Enters her final season as a Tiger 30 hits shy of 200 career hits.

2012 Season: Appeared in 41 games and started 40 during her junior season.... Led the team in hitting with a .377 average....recorded 46 hits, 23 runs, two doubles, eight RBI and 48 total bases... Also drew six walks and struckout a career-low three times.... recorded a .957 fielding percentage after committing a career-low seven errors... Was named the CACC Player of the Week for the first time in her career for the week ending March 25 after batting .632 (12-19)...Had 11 multi-hit games during the course of the season....Had at least one hit in 31-of-41 games....Ended the season with a five-game hitting streak.... Will enter her senior season 34 hits shy of 200 career hits.

2011 Season: Earned Daktronics, Inc. NCAA Division II All-America honors after being named to the third team.  Also earned Daktronics, Inc. All-East Region first team accolades as well.  In addition, McDevitt was selected to the Capital One Academic All-District II third team.  Compiled a career-year at the plate during her sophomore season as she finished the year with a .458 batting average ranking tops in the conference and 11th among NCAA Division II leaders.  Tied her career-high with 60 hits and in the process recorded 23 multi-hit games.  She also tallied 17 runs, three doubles and 12 RBI in 2011.  McDevitt had a .481 slugging percentage and a .478 on-base percentage.  Had a season long seven game hitting streak from April 11-21.

2010 Season: Earned All-CACC second team honors in her first season of collegiate action.  Started all 47 games and led the team in hitting with a .382 batting average.  Also led the team in hits (60), runs (31) and on-base percentage (.433).  Had a .938 fielding percentage splitting time between short stop and second base.  Had 17 multi-hit games, including two four-hit contests. Started the season with a seven-game hitting streak and later in the year recorded a ten-game hit streak.

High School: Was a three-time All-Tri County Conference selection.  Garnered first team honors in her freshman and junior seasons.  As a senior, she was named to the second team.  Also a Philadelphia Inquirer All-South Jersey first team pick.  As a junior, she had a career-best .500 batting average.  Had 97 career hits.
