PHILADELPHIA – The Holy Family University Volleyball Team began play in the Jefferson Invitational sweeping Southern New Hampshire (25-22, 25-11, 26-24) on Friday.
Individual Highlights
- Mia Wise (Genoa, Ill./Genoa-Kingston) posted a double-double with a match-high 30 assists, while leading HFU with 11 digs
- Allana Johnson (Raleigh, N.C./Millbrook) had double the amount of blocks as any other player with four
- Mackenzie Layton (Clarksboro, N.J./Kingsway Regional) and Gianna DiPilato (Verbank, N.Y./Millbrook) had the match's two highest kill totals with 13 and 11, respectively, with Layton falling one dig shy of a second consecutive double-double
- Cadence Palmer (Holland, Pa./Council Rock South) also had nine digs, to go along with a match-best five aces, while Morgan Marziani-Radomski (Aurora, Ill./West Aurora) and Abby Bachman (Westampton, N.J./Rancocas Valley) were second with three aces apiece
- Grace Sims (Glenwood Springs, Colo./Glenwood Springs) and Grace Kravcak (Southampton, Pa./Villa Joseph Marie) both made their collegiate debuts, with Sims delivering six kills

How it Happened
- Tied at 22 in the first set, Holy Family tallied the final three points capped by back-to-back kills by DiPilato
- The Tigers never trailed in the second, scoring the first three points and opening on an 11-2 run as Palmer produced four points
- Deadlocked at 24 in the third, HFU completed the sweep on back-to-back kills by DiPIlato and Layton
