The HFU Volleyball Team is the preseason favorite to win the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) South Division as the league offices released its Preseason Coaches Poll on Wednesday.
 
The Tigers - who feature 12 returners - are coming off a season in which they shared the CACC South Division title, advanced to the CACC Tournament Championship Match and won a match in the NCAA Tournament. 
 
The top four teams in each division in the regular season standings qualify for the 2026 CACC Tournament, which commences with the quarterfinal round hosted by higher seeds on Nov. 10. 
 
Both the semifinals and final will then be hosted at Holy Family on Nov. 14-15. 
 
The Tigers received eight of a possible 10 first-place votes en route to the top spot, with second place Jefferson garnering the remaining three. 
 
Wilmington, who shared the South Division title with HFU in 2025, was notably third. 
 
In the North Division, defending tournament champion Bridgeport is the favorite after earning seven first-place votes, while second place Post – the defending regular season champion and a fellow 2025 NCAA Tournament participant – received the remaining three. 
 
Holy Family begins its 2026 campaign traveling to Southern Connecticut State on Sept. 2. 
 
The Tigers welcome Adelphi to the Campus Center for their home-opener on Sept. 10, before CACC play commences on Sept. 15 against Wilmington.
