Holy Family has placed the maximum possible six student-athletes on the 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Women's At-Large Team®.
CSC Academic All-District Teams® recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.
The Women's At-Large Team considers student-athletes from numerous sports, from which HFU offers bowling and lacrosse.
Earning the honor for a first time were bowling's
Shayla Hess (Churchville, Pa./Council Rock South) and
Maria Hindman (Philadelphia, Pa./St. Hubert Catholic) and women's lacrosse's
Elle Fitzgerald (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan),
Julie Gallardo (North Brunswick, N.J./North Brunswick Township),
Lexi Ryan (Bensalem, Pa./Bensalem) and
Gwen Varley (East Earl, Pa./Garden Spot).
To be eligible for the 2026 Academic All-District® Women's At-Large Team, a student-athlete must:
- have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average
- be at least a sophomore academically and athletically
- for bowling, be in the lineup for 75 percent of an institution's days of competition
- for lacrosse, compete in 90 percent of the institution's games played OR start in at least 66 percent of the institution's games played
