BENSALEM, Pa. - The Holy Family University Softball Team outscored Dominican 16-1 in a sweep of the Chargers, 9-1 and 7-0, on Saturday afternoon at Bensalem High School.
Madison Grubb (Swedesboro, N.J./Kingsway) had two hits and three RBI in both contests, finishing the doubleheader 4-for-6 with six RBI, two doubles, a run and a base on balls.
Game two starter
Molly Moore (Conshohocken, Pa./Plymouth Whitemarsh) earned a third complete game win in four starts, surrendering just four hits with four strikeouts and no walks across seven innings.
Game one starter
Paige Tidaback (Carteret, N.J./St. Thomas Aquinas) threw a complete game as well, limiting DU to one run on five hits over five frames.
Jaden Kelly (West Deptford, N.J./West Deptford) had her second three-hit game of the season in the nightcap, going 3-for-4 with two runs and two stolen bases.
She was one of five Tigers with multiple base knocks in the contest, joining Grubb,
Rylee Hobel (Coopersburg, Pa./Southern Lehigh),
Olivia Croge (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill West) and
Franceska Celebre (Vineland, N.J./Vineland), as HFU tied a season-high with 13 hits.
Hobel joined Kelly in scoring twice, while
Adrianna Lisotto (Middletown, N.J./Middletown North) drove in two as she reached base twice.
In the opener,
Kylee Jones (Hulmeville, Pa./Neshaminy (Rider)) went 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI and a base on balls.
